Years ago in the iconic film "Almost Famous" Russell
Hammond, played by Billy Crudup shouted from the rooftop those words. The connection to the two was made instantaneously, after I saw this video.
And like the aforementioned predecessor before those in this video, sheer genius.
It's even better than the real video by Ms. Perry. This is not to say that musicians or lack there of these days (that's another post entirely) shouldn't be in their own music videos, but this is case for going back to the day when Bon Jovi had the idea for their "Bad Medicine" video gather a group of fans with cameras make the video. (If You haven't seen it, look it up, things like this have been done for years.)
These group of college Men, are fun! witty, and classically humble, showing that you don't need all things like video games, Ipads, and anything that is shown on the lack luster "Skins" to have a blast.
You just need some good humored friends, with a little imagination. It's good to go out and just play.

One Year later?
How the time does fly.
And I look back upon the posts left behind during that year and some I want to delete and then I think about the reasons why I shouldn't; and then I dont.

The "journey" has not stopped.

It just feels like it has been de-railed somewhat with all the things happening.

What is strange about this, is that even though I have not been able to "refer" to the books, and tapes, etc. I have managed to become more aware and see things that are happening.

I may not be happy about all of them, but to keep it to the most basic and important point, its just the fact that there is the comfort in feeling something is happening.

It's almost amazing what happens when you become AWARE of things, no matter what those things are.

Happy Birthday, My dear Father, May You finally have the peace you so deserve now. You helped so many and You were such a contributor to this world, a brilliant mind.
I love You more than anything, You always were there, and I know You are still watching Me. I promise that soon, all the Art that You were so proud of will be seen, and it is My hope that it touches all those, in the same way that You have touched and helped so many. I am lost without You, but I will find My way from all the ways I watched You and how You made sure that You did too. You were proud and honorable, and a wonderful Man and Father, You will be so missed, but loved just as much.
I know now You are flirting with the Angels and taking care of them too, Forever in My heart, Daddy, I love You, rest in Peace.
